Sandside Estate lies along the dramatic north coast of Scotland near Thurso
in Caithness. Their sport is varied from red deer stalking and grouse to
pheasants, duck and trout fishing but has remained un-promoted and
unavailable to all but family guests in recent years. Geoffrey Minter’s
daughter Tamara, and her husband Charles Inness have come to the estate with
a host of new ideas for developing the estate’s resources. Tamara says
“We want to offer exciting packages for the experienced and also novice
sports person in addition to catering for those with other outdoor activity
interests. And we want to offer it all with the highest levels of customer
care.”
Horse riding,
surfing, cycling, walking, swimming, painting, golfing on the most northerly
UK mainland links course and beauty treatments are all on the menu whilst
staying at their own modernised self catering cottages.
